The Academy

The project coordinator is Warsaw Academy of Computer Science, Management and Administration – a tertiary education institution with great experience in both education of managers and realization of strictly scientific projects. The Academy is a partner of many institutions, companies and universities from Poland and European Union.

OP Human Resources

Project The model of  entrepreneurship supporting in Mazovia region (Model wspierania przedsiębiorczości na Mazowszu) is financed by the European Social Fund and is realized within the Operational Programme Human Resources (action 8.2. Transfer of knowledge). The project objectives are consistent with objectives of priority VIII of the Detailed Description of Priorities OP HR, objectives of key national and regional strategic documents. Moreover, they are compatible with objectives of the Regional Innovation Strategy in Mazovia region.

Objectives

The main project objectives are strictly connected with activities bringing closer the academic and business environments and entities acting in these fields in Mazovia region. The series of conferences organized within the project aims at getting to know each other and in further stage establishing cooperation between academic staff and entrepreneurs.

Dates

There will be three important moments in realization of the project, closely connected with organization of three research-training conferences. The conferences will take place in the following terms: 26th-27th February 2010, 16th-17th April 2010 and 11th-12th June 2010 and will be held in the seat of Warsaw Academy of Computer Science, Management and Administration at 6 Meksykańska  Street.

Beneficiaries

The conferences are meant mainly for representatives of business and research workers acting on the territory of Mazovia province. The project is directed in particular to employees of enterprises, research workers, academic teachers, university students and students of final years of secondary schools, living in the Mazovia province.

Subject matter of the conferences

Subject matter of the conferences will be connected with five groups of issues: (1) science for entrepreneurship, (2) entrepreneurship – demand for innovation, (3) intermediary institutions and activities supporting innovation and entrepreneurship, (4) pro-innovative awareness of authorities and citizens, the culture of innovation and (5) benchmarking and regional development forecasting. The discussed issues will be, among others, the offer of science for industry, the need of innovations in companies, interregional and international cooperation in research  and innovation work, and lots more.
